Summer Cruise 2022

Cruise round the south-east corner of Ireland, visiting Waterford and New Ross.
- Wednesday 13 July Confirmation deadline, last orders for meals
- Thursday 21 July Muster in Greystones marina; dinner ashore
- Saturday 30 July Return to Arklow; final dinner ashore
- Monday 1 August Return to home ports
As with any CAI event, you don’t have to visit every port – hop on and hop off as you choose.
This is a great opportunity to explore new or familiar ports in good company, with discounts on berthing and food that might even cover the cost of membership.
It’s also a chance to practice techniques with the help of experienced cruising sailors: rafting up, berthing on a harbour wall and anchoring.
If you think you might be interested, please submit a booking form. That will help us with our planning and you can cancel without penalty.
You can confirm your booking by paying an administrative charge on or before Wednesday 13 July. After that we may refuse new bookings and cancel unconfirmed bookings.
When you’ve booked you can download the Briefing Notes – a PDF giving details of all the arrangements. Usually the notes grow as we firm up the arrangements, so you should expect to download new versions from time to time.
Organisers (events@cruising.ie): Pat Egan, Simon Parker, John Murphy, Charlie Kavanagh, Brendan Farrell.
