CRUISING ASSOCIATION of IRELAND SUMMER CRUISE AUGUST 2020
Ahoy !
We are now in a better position regarding berthing and catering arrangments for this summer cruise in company.
We have organised berthing and catering at our three prime stopovers. We will require berthing and catering prebooking for Malahide, Carlingford and Bangor. It is anticipated that each venue meal will take the form of a two course meal priced in the region of €25 to €30 pp.
Following on with covid compliance and restrictions we anticipate that we will have tables of 6 persons. Should you have another crew you are happy to share a table with please indicate on the provided questionnaire the name of the boat and crew.
A questionnaire has been compiled to assist with the organisation of the catering and berthing at each primary venue. Having paid your boat administration fee of €20 Please now CLICK ON THIS LINK TO COMPLETE THE QUESTIONNAIRE
“After those who have paid their deposit have indicated their numbers for dining at each of the venues we shall open dining to other persons not taking part in the cruise. This will be done by way of a separate post nearer to the commencement of the cruise.”
It has been an incredibly difficult year for us all but the bottom line is that we need to go cruising. Needless to say, we are bound to remain compliant with all restrictions imposed and these same conditions will dictate the levels of social interaction for the safety of our membership. Indeed is our duty to do so.
We have opened this year’s cruise in company up and based the cruise around key locations where a greater number of boats may be accommodated within the safety of a marina able to accommodate our numbers. These marinas are locations where, restrictions permitting, we shall endeavor to organise evening gatherings for all by way of BBQ’s or evening meals. These primary locations are denoted in red. You will find that there are days between primary locations where you may cruise at your leisure to enjoy the coastal havens and anchorages.
A particular welcome is extended to new members and those with home ports in the Northern Region.
Please now browse over the tabled outline and register by payment of a non-refundable admin fee below along with completion of the questionnaire. We look forward to seeing you all on the water. Be sure to fly the flag for the Cruising Association of Ireland https://cruising.ie/merchandise/
