Boat Maintenance - A Philosophy.

Presented by Bob Foley, CAI

Bob is a member of the CAI and also a Licensed Aircraft Engineer with 15 years on-the-tools experience in commercial and general aviation. He is an experienced sailor who has refit a number of boats large and small in his time. He will be talking about principles of aircraft maintenance and how they can be applied to boat maintenance and ownership.

On the Water

He will cover subjects such as

  • Safety
  • Efficiency
  • Prioritisation
  • Best practice
  • How to approach a refit/overhaul
  • Why a towel is one of the best tools to have on board

– And much more…

He will be available for questions on all aspects of boat and aircraft maintenance afterwards.
