Every Wednesday at 19:30 we gather in the CAI Zoom room for a Club Night chat. Occasionally we have guest speakers, and so far this year we have enjoyed three presentations.
- Cruising Weather by John Leahy
- Mallorca Cruise by Jonathan Sedgwick
- eOceanic Update by Michael Harpur
We record these presentations for our members, and the recordings are permanently available on the website. To view them you need to login then follow the menu links Members Area – Members Page – Online Resources.
If the presenter gives us permission we publish these videos for the public too. They’re visible in our YouTube channel:
https://www.youtube.com/@cruisingassociationofireland
If you subscribe to the channel, YouTube will notify you when a new video is ready. Statistics show that these recordings are valued by members and visitors. The number and duration of views is reassuring, and we’ll keep doing this.
Preparing and presenting these recordings requires some expertise, and we appreciate the work of our self-effacing video editor.
We welcome other kinds of contribution too. Articles from members about their experiences are particularly well received, and we are grateful to Des Collins for putting his thoughts into words for us this week.
If you have something to say or show, contact the editorial team by email: editor@cruising.ie
Reminder: AGM and dinner
We’ll be gathering for our first social occasion of 2023 in about a week. There will be formal business, speeches and presentations. There will be a buffet dinner, then the informal festivities can continue as long as you like. There might be music too, so brush up your party piece!
You must buy dinner tickets in advance: https://cruising.ie/product/agm-dinner-2023/
