Peter Scallan, Yachtmaster Instructor and Sail Training Skipper, will run an interactive workshop on Passage Planning on Zoom at 1930 on Wed 14 January 2026.
He will demonstrate the four stages of Passage Planning – APEM (Appraise, Plan, Execute, Monitor) in the context of coastal cruising. He will also work through how SOLAS V Reg 34 can be used by a cruising sailor as both an effective passage planning tool and as notes for a pre-cruise crew briefing, using real examples.
